Bruno Angelini est un pianiste et compositeur aux racines tenant \u00e0 la fois de la musique classique et du jazz. En 2020, en residence \u00e0 la Fraternelle – Saint-Claude nait le projet \u201cTransatlantic Roots\u201d.
Comme on peut s\u2019y attendre, l\u2019\u00e9criture musicale du compositeur s\u2019inscrit dans la tradition europ\u00e9enne, dans un univers harmonique proche de la musique contemporaine. Mais les influences afro-am\u00e9ricaines sont \u00e9galement bien pr\u00e9sentes, que ce soient la lutte pour les droits civiques de Rosa Parks, la musique de Mal Waldron ou Wayne Shorter, ou encore la litt\u00e9rature de Jack London ou Jim Harrison. Il en r\u00e9sulte une \u00e9criture ouverte et sensuelle qui nous plonge dans les d\u00e9lices de la contemplation, de la fantaisie, de l\u2019imagination et de la po\u00e9sie.
Le tout servi par des musiciens magnifiques qui s\u2019inscrivent admirablement dans le projet: le trompettiste Fabrice Martinez est un musicien tr\u00e8s \u00e9clectique, que l\u2019on retrouve sur des sc\u00e8nes tr\u00e8s diff\u00e9rentes, (ONJ de 2014 \u00e0 2018, Daniel Humair, Marc Ducret, Alpha Blondy, Charles Aznavour ou Bernard Lavilliers); le splendide batteur fran\u00e7ais Eric \u00c9champard, premier prix de percussions classiques et contemporaines du CNSM de Lyon, (ONJ, Andy Emler, Michel Portal, Fran\u00e7ois Jeanneau) qui assurera l\u2019univers percussif.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
